Dubai is one of the most successful cities in the world, impressing foreign investors with its open culture and exponential economic growth. It has become extremely popular among entrepreneurs looking for places to set up shop in the past few years. In a world of international uncertainty, Dubai stands out as a commercial oasis due to its tax free incentives, ease of doing business, and access to many of the fastest emerging markets.

Recently, the UAE government announced several initiatives intended to attract talented individuals, professionals and investors, and one was the Golden Visa, a 10-year visa. Essentially, the new system enables foreigners to live, work, and study in the UAE without having to seek national sponsorship, and with 100% ownership of their businesses on the UAE’s mainland. These visas are valid for a period of five or ten years and can be renewed subject to certain conditions.

If you’re thinking of living and establishing a business in the UAE long-term, obtaining one of these golden visas would be the ideal option.
